Conquering Blogging Nerves and Sabotaging Stress With a Sharpie
This has me chewing my nails. My commitment to regularly write this blog, I mean. Writing just doesn’t come naturally to me, but I love the idea of being able to share with you, my readers. My goal is to have it up each week, but if I occasionally don’t make it, you can guess what the previous week was like.
I’m sabotaging stress with my Sharpie! To reduce stress and take care of my health, I’ve made a commitment to do an exercise routine and walk regularly each week. Frankly, it’s been a hit-or-miss effort. I even bought stars to paste on a calendar to keep me on track, to no avail. Go ahead and laugh.
What is finally working for me is to make a mark on my makeup mirror with a blue Sharpie each time I walk, so I can keep count. I love seeing those lines add up, and, because they wash off, I start with a clean “slate” each week.
Just curious, what works for you?
Mary
